Met Gala 2018

Madonna fully embodied this year’s Met Gala theme, “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination,” she did so with a little help from West Village jewelry designer Catherine Angiel. Wearing an elegant black Jean Paul Gaultier gown, her Gothic inspired look was accented with jeweled crosses and rosaries; among them you’ll see a glimmer of Catherine Angiel’s Black Diamond Rosary Necklace. Catherine’s signature rosary necklace it is a cult favorite amongst celebrities and jewelry lovers alike. Black Diamonds are encrusted in the cross and black spinel beads shimmer in this design. It’s powerful, yet feminine and delicate. Madonna also sported Catherine Angiel’s signature Black Diamond Cross Armor Ring. Handcrafted with movement, each diamond dances in the light. This signature design is a favorite of those who love unique statement pieces. Vogue’s Anna Wintour rocked celestial spirits amongst others, like Rihanna and Cardi B, who captured everyone with their papal style choices. Style favorite, Madonna wowed everyone with her performance of “Like A Prayer” and Lenard Cohen’s “Hallelujah.”
