Tips on Caring for Your Jewelry January 25 2014, 0 Comments

Here are some great tips for caring for your jewelry!

-Always store your jewelry in a clean, dry place

-The best way to store your jewelry is in a fabric-lined jewelry case, or in a box that has different compartments and dividers. If you would rather use an ordinary box, no problem! Just wrap each piece individually in soft tissue paper.

-Do not jumble your jewelry together--you could scratch your gorgeous pieces

-Be very careful when taking your jewelry off when you wash your hands or the dishes. Don't leave your pieces on the rim of the sink--you don't want to lose your favorite ring or bracelet falling down the drain, never to be seen again!

-See your jeweler once a year to have your jewelry checked for any loose prongs, worn mountings or any general wear and tear.

-You should also visit your jeweler every six months to have your jewelry professionally cleaned to look brand new!

Follow these simple tips, and your jewelry will last a lifetime!

Rose Gold Diamond Band | Delicate and Feminine January 08 2014, 0 Comments

Adding on layers to keep warm during the Polar Vortex? Why not layer your jewelry, too!

Our Bliss Band makes a stunning wedding band or a great stacking ring! The alternating delicate scallop pattern and hand engraved milgrain detail added to the edges, gives this band a gorgeous vintage look.

'Twas the Night Before Christmas... December 18 2010, 0 Comments

‘Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house
Not a wrapped gift was present, note even a blouse.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
But nothing was in them, they were completely bare.

The husbands were fretting, concerned in their beds,
While visions of angry wives danced in their heads.
And sister in her jammies, and I in my Yankees cap
Had just settled in for a long winter’s nap.

When out in West Village there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter!
Away to Greenwich Ave I flew like a flash,
Rang the doorbell at number 43 and threw up my sash.

When what to my hopeful eyes should appear,
But a vast selection of sparkly gifts; there’s nothing to fear!
Black diamonds, white diamonds, and fine metals galore
Santa himself must’ve created this store!

I phoned my father and gave him the news,
I found the perfect assortment to present to his muse.
With a wink and a smile I saw from the back,
Catherine Angiel was there to pick up the slack.

I chose a black diamond ring and was out in a hurry
To get it in under the tree before Mom awoke in a furry.
My dad was relieved and will sleep well tonight,
Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!

  • Yes, I would go back!

I am very into rock n' roll and funky style jewelry designs. I was wandering around the West Village area on my day off and literally just stumbled upon Catherine Angiel's shop. To my happy surprise I wanted everything! The tattoo jewelry and graffiti jewelry was completely my style. The designers work with black diamonds was really cool too. Being a first time shopper I just looked around not too sure about what to actually purchase because I loved so many things! The staff was incredibly friendly and super helpful making my happy find that much better. I ended up leaving with the 'Love' pendant necklace in white gold with white diamonds; SO beautiful! I wear it practically everyday and constantly get complimented on it. I'll definitely be back soon :)
